Do what you love, and go see the world.

Hi, I'm MakerJackie. An indie developer, AI geek, and road-tripping digital nomad, building fun little products with AI.

Life is short—live it your own way

About Weekly Hackathon

Before · Making machines speak

Studied electronics at Sun Yat-sen University, worked on speech R&D at an AI startup, researched speech synthesis, voice conversion, and voice cloning, and helped bring products to market.

After leaving my job · Traveling and community

After leaving full-time work, I spent some time traveling and started the Weekly Hackathon, turning ideas into prototypes with friends who love AI. These days I'm less involved in the community's day-to-day operations.

Now · Building my own products

Now I mainly build my own apps, websites, and scientific visualizations. I once went a month without writing code by hand, using AI to build a community site and an online mini-game, and turned those experiments into tutorials.

The workspace can be at home, or on the road

I love the mountains and starry skies, and I also love coming back to my computer to tinker with a new idea.

Beyond building products, I also write about travel, life, and my thoughts at each stage.

Let's talk

If you'd like to talk about AI development, chat about products, or have collaboration needs for a website, mini program, or app, feel free to email me. I'm also happy to chat about travel and digital nomad life.
